Kevin MacDonald is an evolutionary psychologist, former professor of psychology, and author of numerous books examining the influence of Jews and Zionism in the West.

His Twitter (or X) account was suspended in 2023, with the reason remaining unknown. But we can probably guess why: he was over the target, and Elon doesn’t fully believe in free speech.

The Culture of Critique

The Culture of Critique is a ‘controversial’ take on how Jewish intellectual movements have shaped Western culture.

Kevin argues that influential Jewish thinkers used their power to push ideas that challenged traditional Western values, which, according to him, weakened European societies.

He says that Jews helped trigger the decline of Western civilisation, with their focus on pushing multiculturalism, mass immigration, and breaking down the old social order.

Kevin goes deep into movements like the Frankfurt School, psychoanalysis, and efforts to push liberal immigration policies. He adds these were driven by Jewish intellectuals who had their own group interests in mind.

It’s a very attractive thought.

Kevin’s view is that by promoting ideas like equality and attacking nationalism, Jews were intentionally undermining the social unity of their host nations. In his eyes, it was a strategy to make Jews feel safer from ‘anti-Semitism’ by watering down the dominant culture’s influence.

⚠️ Speaking of which, Norman Finkelstein made an excellent point in our conversation about why the phrase ‘anti-Semitism’ is both dangerous and empty.

Critics slam the book as—wait for it—anti-Semitic and accuse Kevin of twisting the facts to fit his narrative. But that simply means he’s revealing uncomfortable truths about Jewish elites’ influence in modern Western policies.

Make Zionism Great Again

For clarity, The Culture of Critique is part of a trilogy that dives into the role of Jewish influence on Western civilisation, with each book taking on a different angle.

  • The first bookA People That Shall Dwell Alone, explores how Jewish people have maintained their group identity over the centuries through practices like endogamy and cultural separation.
  • The secondSeparation and Its Discontents, looks at how Jewish communities have handled hostility from non-Jews, often by sticking together and developing strategies to combat ‘anti-Semitism’.
  • The third, The Culture of Critique, is the one in which Kevin argues that Jewish intellectual movements have significantly influenced modern Western policies, often at the expense of traditional European values.

Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
