Patrick Moore is a founding member and past president of Greenpeace, but he no longer supports the organisation because it’s turned into a globalist mess.
He is also the author of a few books that challenge climate change propaganda.
Carbon dioxide is essential for the process of photosynthesis, which is the biochemical foundation of life on Earth.
General scientific principle
For example, in Fake Invisible Catastrophes and Threats of Doom, he argues that most environmental fear porn in the media is based on things beyond direct observation, like carbon dioxide (CO2) and polar bears, leading people to believe alarmist nonsense.
The book challenges various claims including the dangers of nuclear energy, the extinction of polar bears, and the impact of CO2.
The Greens are elitist, representing rich people in rich countries. They do not want Africa to develop as Europe has done.

CO2 lives matter
Carbon dioxide is critical for all life on Earth.
More of it equals more life. Less of it equals less life.
It’s that simple.
As we learnt in school, it is a crucial component in the process of photosynthesis, which allows plants to convert sunlight, water, and CO2 into energy-rich carbohydrates. Higher levels of CO2 enhances this process, leading to increased plant growth, improved crop yields, and greater food production.
More CO2 means more food.
Increased levels of CO2 have been shown to stimulate plant growth, enhancing food production and contributing to global food security.
Summary of findings from agricultural studies

The controlled use of CO2 in greenhouses is a well-established practice in agriculture. By introducing elevated levels of CO2 in greenhouses, farmers optimise plant growth, increase crop productivity, and enhance resource efficiency.
I’ll type the overarching message another way: CO2 is not the baddie.
NASA’s own satellite data has shown an increase in Earth’s green vegetation cover, often referred to as “Earth greening.” This greening effect is attributed to higher levels of atmospheric CO2.
Are you getting it yet?
There is no reason to reduce CO2 levels.

The sun, dude
Furthermore, there is also no evidence showing a link between CO2 and climate.
There is, however, a strong link between the sun and climate. So strong, in fact, that it’s laughable to question it. For some reason, many people forget about that very hot ball in the sky, without which we’d freeze to death
In other words, the largest driver of climate change is the sun.

Climate change alarmism has nothing to do with science and everything to do with mass control, money and and power.
It’s dogma.
Much like ‘deadly viruses‘ which can’t be seen, the fluctuations in Earth’s temperature can’t be seen either, making them excellent mechanisms of compliance through fear.
Conversation
Climate change, and specifically CO2, are just boogeymen, which is Patrick’s argument in a nutshell.
- CO2 is not the enemy.
- Lowering levels of CO2 will result in declining life on Earth.
- Fossil fuels are not deadly.
There is no climate crisis, there’s weather and climate all around the world, and in fact carbon dioxide is the main building block of all life.
